Hello Friend,

I just wanted to pop in and give a personal update on our family. (New followers - I am a mom of 8 kids, 4 are adults. I homeschool the youngest 4. My husband lost his job in September, which was a big change in our lifestyle as that was most of our income. We have been making ends meet by doing auction resale.)

Good News! My husband has been hired to work as a brand rep that fills product in local grocery stores and will have a route. He starts training next week and the actual job in the new year. We are so thankful for his new job.

Our adult kids (and I pitched in what I could) gifted my husband with a mini dachshund puppy for a Christmas gift to bless him with some joy. Her name is Daisy and we all love her. Well, except our 14 year old male mini dachshund, Doby, who gets grumpy with her - so we separate them currently. Here are a few photos...

Also, my husband just found us a second vehicle and was able to get a loan from the credit union by showing them his hiring letter - so we will finally have two vehicles between us for the first time in 3.5 years. We are counting our blessings and so thankful.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. We are overwhelmed with thankfulness to our Lord and Savior Jesus coming to earth to be among us and to pay the price for our sins so we can be free and we look forward to His return. He is our blessed hope.
