Seasonal Clothing Tracker

Hello Friend,

As a mom of 8 kids, I go through the kids clothing every once in a while (for sure in Spring and Fall - or if I feel like they have grown). This is how I do it. I hand each older kid a Seasonal Clothing Tracker with the Type of clothing or accessories and sections to write how many they Have of each. I go through the younger kids' clothing at the same time.

When I have all the papers, I go through and write how many of each item are Needed. My older kids wash their clothing once a week, so I like them to have at least seven or eight shirts, for example.

This Seasonal Clothing Tracker is available in my Etsy shop. It has instructions at the top of the page that says,

"Instructions for use: write person’s name, sizes and date. Get a pencil, go through all clothing (clean, dirty and in storage) and find items in this person’s size. Write down how many of each type in the “Have” section. Next write how many you need to get in the “Need” section."

As purchases are made, add that quantity to the “Have” section and erase that quantity from the “Need” section.

This helps me to plan what to buy at large kids clothing consignment sales or neighborhood rummage sales. I hope it will help you too.
