Seasonal Clothing Tracker for Rummaging

Hello Friend,

As a mom of 8 kids, I go through the kids clothing before I intentionally go to rummage sales looking for clothes. This is how I do it. A few days to a week before rummaging, I hand each older kid a printed out Seasonal Clothing Tracker.

They use a pencil to write how many they have of each Type of clothing or accessories they Have and write how many they have of each in the correct sections.

I go through the younger kids' clothing at the same time as the older kids are going through their own. I use a pencil to write what the younger kids have.

When I have all the papers, I look at the pages and write how many of each item we Need. My older kids wash their clothing once a week, so I like them to have at least seven or eight shirts, for example.

This Seasonal Clothing Tracker is available in my Etsy shop. It has instructions at the top of the page that says,

"Instructions for use: write person’s name, sizes and date. Get a pencil, go through all clothing (clean, dirty and in storage) and find items in this person’s size. Write down how many of each type in the “Have” section. Next write how many you need to get in the “Need” section."

As purchases are made, use a pencil to add that quantity to the “Have” section and erase that quantity from the “Need” section.

This helps me to plan what to buy at large kids clothing consignment sales or neighborhood rummage sales. I hope it will help you too.

Save time writing it out and get my Seasonal Clothing Tracker.

Hello Friend, We did a little grocery shopping recently. I am always shocked by how quickly the prices are rising each time we go. There are currently nine people to feed living in my household and five of us are adults. People often ask how we do it - How do we pay the bills, feed and clothe our large family when your husband has an average full time job? They don't see/know about the side hustles. My husband also has a side hustle of auction resale. I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom -...

axiom chemistry different colored flames example

Hello Friend, In our homeschool, I have homeschooled 8 children and am very picky about the Chemistry curriculum that I choose. Mostly because we do this at home and I don't want to deal with big chemical reactions or the mess in my home kitchen! So, In the past, I read aloud about the experiment to my student, often the physical textbook would have visuals. Since my oldest homeschooled child just graduated from college this year with a minor in Biology (in which she had to pass Chemistry 2)...
