Update on my three adult kids moving out in August

Our 20 year old bought a house and got everything moved and has already changed the flooring in one room! His cat joined him after that project was completed. He doesn't live too far away and still joins us for supper occasionally.

Next, our 27 year old moved to Tennessee where she graduated college from - as she has a goal to get her blackbelt in martial arts. Pray for her to get enough jobs/income to make ends meet - as her current one doesn't pay as much as her job in Wisconsin did.

Lastly, our 25 year old is a traveler! He is not really moved out, but traveling for a month to Japan, Vietnam, and other places. He was homeschooled but taught himself to speak Japanese with books, apps and online means - I don't speak a word of the language. I tell my younger kids, "once you learn to read, you can learn anything." He does speak some Vietnamese, but also uses his phone to help him translate what he wants to say in other countries. It's interesting. We pray for his safety, but wild horses can't hold him back, he's gotta go - at least once a year.

Regarding my husband's skin cancer on his ear. It's amazing. A big chunk was cut out, but by using skin from his neck, the surgeon was able to sort of reconstruct his ear and it looks really good. Here's a photo with him and my traveling son. Photo with bandage on is here.
