Went wild with crocheting

Hello Friend,

I hope you are not experiencing any terrible weather anomalies and that you will see sunshine and blue skies today.

Update on Household Changes

So, in a previous newsletter, I mentioned that my adult sons were talking about moving out. They viewed a few places and the third guy backed out due to price. They viewed a few more places for just the two of them. In some cases, the price was so high they would need that third roommate. In others, they acted too slowly and someone else got it. It sounds like they are still looking, but not as often.

Binge Watching The Chosen

My adult daughter and I bought tickets to see The Chosen Season 5 at the movie theater nearest her house along with a group of our church friends. How it works is we watch several episodes each Monday night for three weeks in a row.

I knew that this was coming and I had not seen any episodes in the past, other than parts of it, while my daughter was watching it. That was a few years back before she married and was still living at home.

We found out that all the episodes are free with our Amazon Prime subscription. So, my husband and I decided that we would watch an episode or two a day so I can know who each character is before going to the movie.

I was worried that I would not know which character Judas Iscariot was. Finally, he joined the group in one of the last episodes of season two.

My daughter and I just saw the movie on Monday. I really like that they give a quick run through of what happened in previous episodes before starting the first one.

Went Wild With Crocheting

My mother used to crochet while watching TV or movies at home. She taught me how to crochet and I started crocheting anytime that I am watching TV, waiting for kids at activities, riding in a vehicle, etc.

So, since I have been forcing myself to sit for all these long periods AND JoAnn Fabrics is going out of business with amazing deals on yarn - well, I went really wild with crocheting! I can't believe that I now have over 30 colors of dishcloths available in my Etsy shop!

And, y'all - I am just starting Season 3 at home! We also have a big vacation coming up to go from Wisconsin to Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter. There will be a lot of time that I am not driving. Will I end up with over 50 colors of dishcloths available? Are there even that many color choices of the Lily brand of worsted weight cotton yarn?

Stay tuned.
